The workshop Transdisciplinary Approaches to Language Variation will be held in Tromsø, on April 19-20, 2018. The aim of this workshop is to bring together researchers from around the world who approach the topic of language variation from different perspectives and disciplines, in particular linguistics, psychology, speech pathology, and neuroscience. In October 2017, I will be spending some time at the University of Bucharest with an ICUB Fellowship for Visiting Professors within the Institute for Research in the Humanities at the University of Bucharest (IRH-ICUB). In Bucharest, I will teach a course on Romance syntax and spend some time with my colleagues developing some plans for further cooperation and joint projects.
